Deciding what to take when you're packing is always a little difficult.  But travelling to two different climates, even more so.  With the 7-day NYC forecast dropping as low as 14 degrees, and Miami (b*tch) up to 28 degrees with a wedding in between, never has packing been so confounding.  I try to travel light, but...trying to decide between a shortlist of Christian, Jimmy, Sergio, Rupert and Marc is tough.  And I haven't even added boots to this list.

With the departure of Raf Simons from Jil Sander and the news of his move to replace Galliano at Dior, it seems appropriate to post a few of my favourite looks from the most recent Jil Sander collection.  I feel like I came late to the party and was only just getting to know this designer, a man Robin Givan described as having, "established a vocabulary of bold color and provocative shapes, along with a refreshing understanding of fashion’s role in the lives of professional women".  I'm excited to see what his modern aesthetic does for Dior.

We've all been a bit obsessed with Rolling in the Deep, Turning Tables, Someone Like You and Rumour Has It...but Adele's 21 is full of gorgeous, gorgeous songs that I am dying to sing.  One and Only is my current favourite, and pretty much empitomises my general ethos when it comes to music: "all I want in music is heartbreaking romance".  I'm already writing my next cabaret show in my head, just so I can perform this.  Incredible live version above.
